A New Triterpenoid from the Leaves of Eucommia ulmoides OLIV.

Abstract

A new triterpenoid called ulmoidol was isolated from the leaves of Eucommia ulmoides OLIV. On the basis of spectroscopic analysis, the structure was elucidated as 11α, 12α-epoxy-2α, 3β-dihydroxy-24-nor-urs-4(23)-en-28, 13β-olide.
