Abstract

In order to obtain new fluorogens simple versatile methods of synthesis of some Oalkyl [(10-methylacridinium-9-yl)amino]methanethioate trifluoromethanesulfonates, O-alkyl [(10methyl-l0H-acridin-9-ylidene)amino]methanethioates and O-alkyl [(10-methyl-10H-acridin-9ylidene)amino]carboxylates were elaborated. The fluorescence properties of compounds under study were discussed.5][6] Derivatives based on 9-isothiocyanatoacridine (1a) represent a new potential source of fluorogens as it is shown in our previous works concerning the fluorescence properties of 48 9acridinyl derivatives namely 9-isothiocyanatoacridines (1a), thioureas (1b) and iminothiocarbonates (1c). 7,8
