Abstract

The reported multicellular activation and scar are traits of perivascular inflammation and hippocampal sclerosis in experimental epilepsy, with an implication for neurovascular dysfunction. Modulation of PDGFRβ could be exploited to target inflammation in this chronic disease setting.
