Nephrin Signaling Results in Integrin β1 Activation

Abstract

Our findings suggest that Nephrin can mediate a signaling pathway that results in activation of Integrin <i>β</i>1 at focal adhesions, which may affect podocyte attachment to the extracellular matrix.
