Abstract

An all organic redox flow battery with 4,4'-dimethylbenzophenone (44DMBP) anolyte and 2,5-di-<i>tert</i>-butyl-1,4-dimethoxybenzene (DBB) catholyte shows a high open circuit voltage of 2.97 V, and average coulombic efficiency of 72% over 95 cycles at a current density of 1 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>.
