Arterial Stiffness and Endothelial Function in Young Obese Patients - Vascular Resistance Matters

Abstract

Our results indicate that both indices used for the detection of early atherosclerotic changes are influenced by vascular tone. Vascular resistance could influence CAVI and RHI results impairing their interpretation.
