A concrete architecture for smart solutions based on IoT technologies

Abstract

This article proposes a middleware architecture for an Automation based on IoT Technologies. The proposed architecture is built from open platforms and results in an effective solution that allows bidirectional data flow with low latency, is fully compatible with the Wi-Fi network, works with the local network, and consequently, there is the possibility to use it in environments that do not have an Internet connection. The system is also scalable, and it can suit a small number of devices in a house or thousands of devices in a city.
