China: leapfrogging to become a leader in global health?

Abstract

China has high potential to be a global health leader, as witnessed by several initiatives initiated by the Chinese government such as the Africa medical aid and Belt and Road Initiative. However, some barriers remain such as limited global health human resource capacity and lack of
