An NbO-type MOF based on an aminopyridine-heterobifunctionalized diisophthalate linker was synthesized, displaying markedly enhanced C<sub>2</sub>H<sub>2</sub> and CO<sub>2</sub> adsorption over CH<sub>4</sub> compared to its parent compound.
