Abstract

Efficiency is the always ambition of energy system research. The extreme working conditions and materials limit the ceiling of improvement seriously. Based on the research of an evolutional gas turbine concept (the adaptive cycle engine) which draws widely attention with high expectations, this paper raises a new academic conception: optimal matching control schedule method. This method is to solve the complicated control schedule of an energy system. It can improve thermal efficiency when the propulsive efficiency is hold versus the turbofans: to improve propulsive efficiency when the thermal efficiency is hold. The optimal matching control schedule method combines the physical essence analysis of the components matching mechanism principle on an energy system with the mathematical programming optimization method. According to this research, it can optimize the components matching and increase the component efficiencies to raise the thermal efficiency sequentially.
