Why do lung transplant patients discontinue triazole prophylaxis?

Abstract

Itraconazole and posaconazole appeared to have fewer side effects prompting discontinuation than voriconazole, but itraconazole was discontinued more often because of malabsorption and clinical suspicion of fungal infections.
