Abstract

The intelligent electrical distribution network is a critical system in terms of security and reliability. It is composed of current and voltage sensors, switches, circuit breakers, disconnectors; generators ... These equipment have the measurement and action capabilities for exchanging and sharing information between field equipment and control systems for a reliable and manageable power distribution. In this article, we propose, implement and test a data acquisition and transmission architecture that is required for Remote terminal unit RTU using the Raspberry Pi3, the Arduino acquisition board and the Internet of Things (IOT). The variables measured are the voltage, the current and the opening / closing states of the circuit breaker. This data will be transported to the raspberry Pi and stored in a remote servers where the user can access to it via a web interface.
