On the General Circulation over Eastern Asia (I)

Abstract

A summary of synoptic and aerological studies of the circulation over the Far East is given. The mean field of motion in the lower troposphere is considered. Mean cross sections for winter and summer and for different latitudes are discussed. The last section contains a discussion of the seasonal variation of the circulation over the Far East.
