A new hybrid inorganic‐organic material, modified with a β‐keto‐enol‐bisfuran receptor, has been synthesized and used for heavy metal adsorption. The surface of this material revealed a porous structure, and full incorporation of the metal receptor into the hybrid material was confirmed. Systematic adsorption experiments were undertaken by varying pH, adsorption time, initial concentration, and temperature. A highly selective adsorption was detected for Cd II , which reached equilibrium within only 25 min. Regeneration of our hybrid material is excellent with a simple regeneration process, thus opening important perspectives in water cleaning technologies.
