Abstract

CXCL8 is predominantly secreted by macrophages and contributes to the immunosuppressive microenvironment by inducing PD-L1<sup>+</sup> macrophages in gastric cancer. CXCL8 inhibitors may drive antitumour response, providing potential therapeutic effects for patients with gastric cancer.
