Abstract

In the industrial environment, collecting and processing signal acquired from sensors is a frequent activity in smart systems industry. Many problems occur when the signal is disturbed and the magnitude is exceed the limit suddenly during data acquisition from the sensor., the output signal from vibration sensor is one of example. In this paper, we design and implement 3 types of Moving Average filter to STM32F4 microcontroller series and evaluate the performance of the filter by adding random noise to data from the sensor. The different type of MA filter can be selected easily and no programming is required. The results show the performance of the different type of MA filter that can filter out the random noise perfectly. However, the number of the sample must be considered as an important factor to avoid of over filter.
