Charcoal granuloma mimicking breast cancer: an emerging diagnosis

Abstract

Charcoal granuloma should be considered in patients with previous preoperative injection localization, since the residual charcoal in the breast tissue may form granulomas and mimic malignant lesions on follow-up imaging studies.
