With the rapid growth of data in biomedical and healthcare communities, it has been a difficult task to extract knowledge quickly from the available data. Prognosis of diseases in advance can reduce the risk rate of life; many studies have shown the association of machine learning algorithms in different disease prediction. As health care needs timely and accurate performance for diagnosis, we are making use of Big data analytics for better understanding about stage of disease, prediction of diseases, effective decision making, maintenance of electronic health records, organizing structured and unstructured data to give accurate results. This paper summarizes a traditional survey and the importance of big data analytics in health care among different applications where machine learning algorithms are implied.
