Inhibition of retinal angiogenesis by gold nanoparticles via inducing autophagy

Abstract

The present study suggests that GNPs are able to inhibit retinal neovascularization <i>in vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i>. GNPs might be a potential nanomedicine for the treatment of retinal angiogenesis.
