Abstract

Laryngeal paralysis is commonly treated by unilateral arytenoid lateralisation, and aspiration pneumonia is one of the most serious potential complications of this procedure. This study suggests that further investigation of a cisapride constant-rate infusion to prevent this complication is warranted.
