Survey was conducted during, 2015 to review the effectiveness and usefulness of Agro Advisory Services regarding climate change in selected villages of NICRA under AICRPDA Bangalore, Karnataka. The agro advisory services twice a week (Tuesday and Friday) were communicated to farmers through writings on the notice board near milk collection centres. One time survey was conducted in the study villages after five years of project implementation. The five years study indicated that the farmers who adopted agro advisory services on real time basis realized 22 to 379% higher economic benefits. Agro Advisory Services emerged as an effective communication medium for transfer of technology regarding climate change information. Agro Advisory Services provide timely and accurate weather forecast and miscellaneous agricultural operations to be carried out for better crop growth. Agro Advisory Services (AAS) were formed to be helpful to the farmers in managing climate risks effectively for sustainable and profitable agricultural production.
