Rapamycin improved erectile function in rats with DMED, likely by promoting autophagy, inhibiting apoptosis and fibrotic activity, and ameliorating endothelial function. These findings provide evidence of a potential treatment option for DMED. Lin H, Wang T, Ruan Y, et al.
