Air quality of urban areas is a key agenda item today at planetary level. Current approaches for monitoring air pollution use stationary expensive equipment which limits the spatio-temporal resolution of the measurements, making them relevant at macro-scale level. Our main goal is to validate the concept of personal air pollution monitor, where the first step is to analyze and select the most suitable sensors. In this paper we aim to investigate the feasibility of using low-cost air pollution sensors to build a personal air quality monitor, someone can use daily as a wearable device.
