Security analysis of cyber-physical systems network infrastructure

Abstract

In this paper authors propose an approach that implements security analysis of ultra-high volumes of network traffic generated by components of cyberphysical systems. Proposed approach provide data reduction using such Big Data methods as filtering and aggregation. Authors propose to use the width of multifractal spectrum of network traffic as a security criterion. Conducted experimental researches demonstrate the efficiency of proposed approach both in terms of reducing traffic volume and in terms of detecting DoS attacks.
