This letter presents the design and fabrication of an orthogonal-mode transducer (OMT) integrated with a simple circular horn antenna. Two different approaches were used to fabricate the structure using additive manufacturing technology. In the first approach, the whole structure is printed as a single piece. To have better access to the interior layers, in the second approach, the structure is divided into two symmetric pieces, and then is fabricated. The S-parameters of both the fabricated OMTs are measured and compared to the simulations results and discussed. Finally, the radiation patterns of the fabricated prototypes are presented and compared.
