A novel and efficient approach to the C(sp 2 )–H/C(sp 3 )–H oxidative coupling of quinoxalin‐2(1 H )‐ones with methylarenes by using Cu I as catalyst is reported. Various substrates were well tolerated in this methodology and the desired products were given in moderate‐to‐good yields. This reaction features good functional group compatibility and broad substrate scope.
