Abstract

South Asian immigrants have a higher body burden of OC pesticides than European whites. Diabetes mellitus is associated with higher <i>p,p'</i>-DDE and <i>β</i>-HCH concentrations in this population. Additional longitudinal studies of South Asian populations should be performed.
