Abstract

Individual CPT+A led to significantly greater PTSD and depression symptom reduction than group CPT+A, indicating that in VA outpatient PTSD clinic settings, individual CPT+A may be a more effective approach than group CPT-A. In addition, PTSD symptoms reduced significantly more for Caucasian veterans than for African American veterans during CPT+A, indicating the importance of providing culturally competent trauma-focused care.
