using thionine (Thi) as electrochemical probe was proportional with the AFB1 concentration. Upon optimal conditions, the aptasensor showed specificity for AFB1, achieving a good linear range of 0.1 fg/mL-0.1 μg/mL and the detection limit of 0.01 fg/mL. Furthermore, the developed aptasensor was also applied for detecting AFB1 content in rice and wheat powder samples, obtaining good results in conformity with those achieved from the high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) method.
