Perineural invasion: Independent prognostic factor in oral cancer that warrants adjuvant treatment

Abstract

Aggressive treatment of the primary cancer with the coincident management of the neck is important in the presence of PNI. The PNI worsens survival and warrants intensification of adjuvant treatment.
