ABSTRACTABSTRACTStatistical properties of zero-upcrossing wave heights and periods are examined with a large number of linearly simulated wave profiles for sixteen frequency spectra of the Wallops and JONSWAP types. The means and standard deviations of various parameters are presented as the reference to the statistical studies of sea waves.
