Abstract

A major challenge in physical gel systems is tailoring of rheological properties, with future applications being enabled by the development of a robust strategy for tuning viscoelasticity in a wide range. This report describes a library of physical gels comprised of PEO-based triblock copolymers with stress relaxations being systematically controlled depending on the length of the side-chains (n-hexyl to n-dodecyl). The synthetic accessibility of these PEO derivatives illustrates a versatile route to next generation biomaterials.
