Welcome to the first issue of the IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems (TCSS) for 2018, and Happy New Year to everyone. According to the Chinese lunar calendar, this is the year of the Dog, which in Chinese culture represents trust, loyalty, dedication, and energy.
