Identification of the protection parameters of the local electrical network taking into account the detuning of the inrush current

Abstract

The article describes the problem of setting the electronic release of the circuit breaker in a network with short-circuit currents close in magnitude to the starting ones. The algorithm of the protection action is proposed to determine the short-circuit currents using differentiation of the current signal. The model of the electronic shunt release control system is implemented in the Matlab Simulink software package. The model is configured for subsequent implementation on the microcontroller. The described control system makes it possible to achieve separation of the starting currents and short-circuit currents at an early stage.
