Our study demonstrated that HFO following CPB in obese patients improved postoperative PaO<sub>2</sub>, SpO<sub>2</sub>, and PaCO<sub>2</sub> values and decreased the atelectasis score, reintubation, and mortality rates when compared with mask O<sub>2</sub>.
