In this article, we present the study of the partial shading influence, and the effect of different PV array power on grid-connected photovoltaic stations performance mounted in the desert region of Algeria at the end of the year 2016. To evaluate these effects on PV central performance. we analyzed the measured data, which are derived from monitoring of climate parameters (solar irradiation, ambient temperature) and other electrical parameters (power, energy) during a clear day such as a monitoring period. The analysis of the experimental data shows that the partial shading can be influence on DC/AC output power and DC/AC energy of the grid connected PV system, then it affects the performance parameter such as the efficiencies (PV, inverter and system) of power and energy, the yields (array and final) and the performance ration. While the PV array power that influence on the inverter efficiency, because of the efficacy of maximum power point tracking technique for PV inverter, which is depend of the level DC input power.
