Prevalence of hepatitis B in a presumably healthy Lebanese population.

Abstract

The data presented indicates that Lebanon has a low prevalence of HBV infection. Costeffective studies are needed to justify universal iminunization against hepatitis B especially in countries where budgets are tight.
