Two bifunctional electrocatalysts (termed Co<sub>2</sub>P/Mo<sub>2</sub>C/Mo<sub>3</sub>Co<sub>3</sub>C@C and Ni/Ni<sub>2</sub>P/Mo<sub>2</sub>C@C) were synthesized derived from two bimetallic MOFs with superior HER performance in acidic media and favorable HER and OER activity under alkaline conditions.
