Renewable energy, is the vast source of potential for energy generation also have no negative impact on the environment. Solar Energy is one of the vital sources of renewable energy which is mainly utilized by photovoltaic effect, deliberated as an eco-friendly energy source because of its enormous potential and sustainability. Moreover, it reduces the dependency on conventional fuel. To utilize the solar energy, typically require huge land for establishing the solar PV plant which is almost inaccessible for an over populated country like Bangladesh. But there is a huge coastal area as well as 57 major rivers will be effective for establishing floating solar PV plant. Such wide-open spaces are also available as highways in Bangladesh. By converting these highways into solar lanes and floating solar PV plants will open new possibilities for source of energy generation in Bangladesh. A thoroughly numerable study for implementing solar lanes and floating solar PV power plant in Bangladesh is accomplished by counting allowances like accessible surface area, solar panel efficiency, position of the panels, basic design etc., which gives an overall image of total electrical energy generation. The electricity generation by using these thoughts are optimized by studying theoretical and simulation data. So, it is the veritable time of replace our conventional solar based infrastructure with the modern concepts i.e. Solar lanes and Floating solar PV plants.
