Machine learning assisted optical interconnection

Abstract

We demonstrate the applications of machine-learning based DSP methods in short reach optical interconnection system. The machine-learning algorithms including mainly support vector machine (SVM) provides an effective recipe for distorted signal in PAM and CAP optical interconnect systems.
