Anxiety disorders and stressful events in Takotsubo syndrome

Abstract

In patients with pre-existing anxiety disorders, TS was predominantly triggered by exclusively emotional stressful events, thereby suggesting a possible relationship between anxiety and emotional cardiac frailty in TS patients.
