To achieve the integration of radar and communication in waveform, we design an integrated system combining multi-input multi-output (MIMO) radar with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication. In the system, each antenna transmits integrated waveform with different sub-frequency bands. The integrated waveform is a variation of traditional OFDM communication waveform. To completely utilize the array aperture and the entire signal bandwidth, a range and angle estimation method is proposed. First, the high resolution angle estimation is performed, and then the range estimation with high resolution is obtained. Theoretical analysis validates that the devised system can attain the radar and communication function simultaneously, and the proposed method has low computational complexity. Numerical results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
