Abstract

Antenatal maternal factors and uterine environment affects adrenal growth and development thus postnatal high resolution 2D US scan of adrenal glands can provide useful information to predict outcomes. This information can complement hormone and adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) stimulation assays.
