Blue-emitting cationic iridium(<scp>iii</scp>) complexes featuring pyridylpyrimidine ligands and their use in sky-blue electroluminescent devices

Abstract

The synthesis, structural and photophysical characterisation, and LEEC devices of four novel, cationic iridium(<sc>iii</sc>) complexes are reported.
