The main goal in this paper is to obtain low power consumption of wireless sensor nodes and collected distributed data in environmental parameters monitoring. Communication module and the controller should be in idle state as long as possible when they are not active. In design and development of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), one of the main challenges is to achieve long lasting battery lifetime. The purpose of this work is to develop a low maintenance and low cost wireless sensor network system which would be used for optimization of greenhouse crop production.
