Spatial Correspondence Between Intraretinal Fluid, Subretinal Fluid, and Pigment Epithelial Detachment in Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Abstract

Automated analyses of large-scale datasets in a cross-sectional study of 1182 patients with active treatment-naïve nAMD demonstrated low spatial correlation of SRF with IRC and PED in contrast to increased colocalization of IRC and PED. These morphological associations may contribute to our understanding of functional deficits in nAMD.
