Altered Nocturnal Cardiovascular Control in Children With Sleep-Disordered Breathing

Abstract

In children with mild-to-moderate SDB, vasomotor activity is increased and baroreflex sensitivity decreased during quiet, event-free non-REM sleep. Adenotonsillectomy appears to reverse this effect.
