Mortality of Talc Miners and Millers From Val Chisone, Northern Italy

Abstract

We confirmed the lack of association between exposure to asbestos-free talc, lung cancer, and mesothelioma. Increased mortality from pneumoconiosis among miners is attributable to past exposure to silica.
