Abstract

The condensation of scalar bilinear in a classically scale invariant strongly interacting hidden sector is used to generate the electroweak scale, where the excitation of the condensate is identified as dark matter. We formulate an effective theory for the condensation of the scalar bilinear and find in the self-consistent mean field approximation that the dark matter mass is of $O(1)\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$ with the spin-independent elastic cross section off the nucleon slightly below the LUX upper bound.
