Endocardial Fibroelastosis is Secondary to Hemodynamic Alterations in the Chick Embryonic Model of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome

Abstract

Abnormal hemodynamic loading during heart development leads to myocardial hypoxia, stimulating collagen production in the subendocardium.
